Pella’s boys of summer are still seeking their first win of the season after giving up a big inning against North Polk Thursday.

The Little Dutch led by a slim margin after Kamden Lambert drove in Ryan Mace in the 4th inning, but they gave up five runs to the Comets in the 6th. Aaron Downs racked up 10 strikeouts in his first varsity start in 5 2/3 innings of work.

Pella is 0-3 and has a few days off before traveling to Pella Christian Wednesday, a game that can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
