Pella’s boys soccer team is playing some of the best soccer in the state during their lengthy winning streak, and that continued at Newton Tuesday.

The Little Dutch won five-nil against the Cardinals. Head Coach Mark Solomon says they wasted no time in setting the tone, and took advantage of some excellent through balls to allow Ethan Poulter to knock in three goals in the first ten minutes of regulation. Reid McGinley and Ben Nelson added 2 more goals in the last 10 minutes of the game after one of the team’s best defensive performances of the year.

Pella takes strong 10-1 record into the Tulip Time break and returns to action next Tuesday when they host Oskaloosa.
