The Little Hawkeye Conference boys golf meet was among the most competitive conference meets in Iowa, with the top six teams all finishing within 29 strokes of each other.

No. 7 in 3A Pella finished tied for third with No. 4 Norwalk at 318 strokes. No. 14 in Class 4A Indianola took the conference crown at 304, followed by No. 13 Grinnell at 317. No. 11 Oskaloosa was just behind Pella at 320. Pella Christian finished with a team score of 450. Pella’s Trey Wood shot a 77, as did Blaise Winegardner, and John Oltman’s card came in at 80, and all three earned All-Conference honors. Both Pella and Pella Christian next travel to the Grinnell invitational Monday.
