Seniors from Pella High School receive their diplomas tonight at commencement.

Paighton Bogaards and Erica Nossaman will be among the students crossing the stage, and tell KNIA/KRLS News they are thankful for the time they spent at Pella High School.

“I’d say it’s super exciting–we’ve worked really hard to get here,” Bogaards says.

“It’s definitely been bittersweet for me, because a lot of my activities have been ending, which is really sad to know I won’t be able to do them next year,” Nossaman says. “But it’s also really exciting as well because you know that the next chapter of our lives is going to be super fun as well.”

Nossaman is walking across a graduation stage for the second time this month, after earning her Associate’s Degree from DMACC, while Bogaards will finish her associate’s degree this summer. Pella High School commencement is this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Vermeer Global Pavilion. Graduation ceremonies for Knoxville and PCM will be held this Sunday.
