Pleasantville Alumni Initiation Week is wrapping up for the Pleasantville High School graduating seniors, now in its 117th year.

The theme of 2018 was “Grease,” with Trojan graduates spending the week dressing up as their favorite opposite sex character while collecting cans for the local food shelves, rolling marbles with their noses, and participating in a tough mudder among other events. Amanda Bender with the Pleasantville Alumni Association tells KNIA/KRLS News the week is a bunch of fun with all the activities the kids have to perform, but it’s also an excuse for all the old classes to get together every year and keep the tradition going. The week ends tonight with the Alumni Banquet beginning at 4pm at the High School.
