Pella Christian’s softball team found their first win of the season in a rain-shortened game against Grinnell, winning 3-2 in five innings.

Sierra Pleima and Natalie Harrill each scored a run in the bottom of the 5th on a double by Amanda Harrill. Game two was postponed.

The softball team travels to Des Moines Christian tonight. Pella Christian dropped their first baseball game against the Tigers 4-3 in a game also shortened due to storms. Will Dembski blasted his state best 6th home run of the season, but P.C. gave up three runs in the top of the fifth inning to fall behind. The 4-5 Eagles have a day off and return home Friday to host DCG.
