Oskaloosa was not kind to the Eagles baseball and softball teams last night.

Baseball dropped a 14-0 decision to the Indians, while the softball girls hung tough in a 4-1 loss to the No. 6 in 4A Indians. The baseball team was one hit by Oskaloosa pitcher Ryan Yates in 5 innings. For softball, Emerson Sarver was 2-for-3, and Amanda Harrill scored the lone Pella Christian run between the two games in a 7th inning rally attempt.

The 2-15 Eagles softball girls welcome 7-5 Knoxville to town this evening. Hear the game live on both 92.1 KRLS and AM 1320, FM 95.3 KNIA, with pregame at approximately 7 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 7:15.

Pella Christian’s 5-9 baseball team will hope to reverse their recent fortunes when they go to Pella High School for a doubleheader Friday. Game two can be heard on the KNIA2 stream at KNIAKRLS.com.
