Panther Drive could not escape the rain last night. Both Knoxville Baseball and Softball squads were rained out. The baseball Panthers were able to get to the third inning before the game was halted tied at three in the bottom of the third inning. Coach Matt Miller told KNIA/KRLS Sports a few mistakes early on has the Panthers in a close game, but he is confident they can correct the wrongs. The baseball game will be made up tonight at five as they will pick up where they left off with the game tied at three and Knoxville coming up to bat in the bottom of the third inning. Meanwhile, the softball game between the same schools never got going and will be made up on July second with the varsity playing first at six P-M. The softball squad will have a road game with A-D-M tonight.
