The Knoxville Baseball Squad won a hard fought game over Davis County last night 7-6. The Panthers fell behind early 3-0 but posted two runs in the second and two more in the third to move ahead 4-3, a lead Knoxville would not give back. Kaleb Streigle earned the win going five innings allowing four runs on six hits, a walk and four strikeouts. Carter Bailey got the save striking out three in ten pitches. Bailey was also good at the plate going 2/3 with a home run and an R-B-I single. Panthers Coach Matt Miller tells KNIA/KRLS Sports one of the keys to the better play lately is on the defense. The Panthers will have their only Saturday tournament of the season as they travel to Carlisle to play two ranked teams out of class 3A. Knoxville will start off against number two Carlisle and then play number three Sergeant Bluff-Luton.
