The Knoxville Baseball Squad settled for a split with Fairfield last night. The Panthers lost game one 11-6. Colton Jones and R.J. Roberts both went 2/3 while Tanner Mason took the loss going 4 1/3 innings giving up five runs on five hits and two walks. In the nightcap, Knoxville got the Trojans 10-8. Ben Wallace was stellar on the mound and at the plate. He earned the win going five innings giving up just two runs while striking out seven and walking one. Wallace helped his own cause at the plate going 2/3 with a double and a triple and four R-B-I. The Panthers are 10-7 on the season and get back to South Central Conference play tonight at Eddyville-Blakebsurg.
