2016 Knoxville Nationals Winner and World of Outlaws Driver Jason Johnson died early Sunday morning from injuries sustained in a racing accident in Beaver Dam, WI Saturday night according to a release from his race team’s website. Johnson started off as a crew member for various sprint car teams before becoming a driver himself. Johnson would go on to become a five time ASCS National 360 Sprint Car Champion before joining the World of Outlaws full time. He is survived by his wife Bobbi and son Jax. Johnson was 41 years old.
