This weekend Pella Christian and Pella Sporting Clays Teams competed in the State Championship Sporting Clays event at Black Oak Clays.


Pella finished with the top rookie squad, and top rookie, Logan Bruxvoort, with Jake Van Wyk following, as well as the top intermediate entry squad. Pella’s teams also collected the first, second and third intermediate entry men: Fisher Cyza, Conner Westerkamp, and Elijah Seely, first place ladies intermediate entry, Erin Mathes, as well as second place intermediate advanced squad. First, second and third place intermediate advanced ladies went to Haley Starmer, Josey Ridley, and Amelia Cyza of Pella as well. Pella Christian finished 2nd in JV squad, as well as first and fifth place in varsity squad. The winner in JV Men was Noah DeBoef, and in JV Ladies was Emily Uitermarkt. The first and fourth place varsity men were Colten Uitermarkt, and Jacob Kelderman. Colten Uitermarkt, Jacob Kelderman, and Emily Uitermarkt were also chosen as members of the All-State Sporting Clays Team.

Knoxville also competed in multiple categories of the youth and senior divisions. Find full results here
