Resistance was minimal for the PCM baseball team on Thursday night, as they crushed Baxter 15-0 in just four innings.

The Mustangs scored in every inning including six in the final frame to coast to the big win. It was a hit parade with 11 Mustangs coming up with knocks led by Brayton Van Dyke going 4-for-4 with five RBI. Wes Cummings chipped in with three hits and a pair of runs batted in. Derek Brown grabbed the win on the bump going four innings of one hit ball and nine strikeouts. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it was an opportunity for a lot of guys to get in and multiple players got their first hit on the season.

The Mustangs improve to 9-10 and will get back at it tonight traveling to North Polk. The PCM softball team will welcome the Comets to town.
