The PCM summer teams will look for their first win of the week tonight, as both baseball and softball will head to Des Moines to face Saydel.

The baseball team (4-7) was suppose to be on the diamond last night against Albia but it was called due to rain. Noah Henkenius has led the Mustangs in many facets including a .377 batting average with five runs knocked in and yielding a 2.80 ERA on the bump. PCM will look to snap a four game losing skid against a solid 9-3 Saydel team. The softball squad (2-6) will also look to snap a four game skid and will need help from their top hitters. Regan Freland, Kenzie Johnson, and Madison Foster each have a batting average above .330 and have knocked in eight runs combined. Saydel is 5-11 on the year.

The softball contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the boys at 7:30 p.m. at Saydel High School.
