Pella Christian’s boys and girls return to action after a night off when they host a pair of ranked Indianola teams.

The Eagles baseball team snapped a six-game losing streak Monday night at Norwalk, but will have a tall order on hand when they host No. 5 in 4A Indianola for a doubleheader. The Indians only loss came in a game they won 4-2, but were disqualified from after a pitch count violation.

Pella Christian’s softball team will host No.4 in Class 5A Indianola only for a single game, and look to play spoiler for an Indians team that has yet to drop a Little Hawkeye Conference game. Senior Amanda Harrill says the young Eagles team has improved greatly over the season, but they also recognize they will be large underdogs for the rest of the season.
