Pella Christian had perhaps their most successful day of softball of the season at their home tournament, winning both of their scheduled games Saturday.

The Eagles defeated PCM 14-4 and came from behind to defeat Perry 5-4 at the Pella Sports Complex.

In game one, Pella Christian pulled ahead to an 8-0 lead in the fourth inning and didn’t look back. Amanda Harrill finished 3/3 with two runs and an RBI, Chloe Morgan was 2/3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases, as well as an RBI, Danielle Vande Voort earned the win in the circle and had three hits and a two run double, and Sierra Pleima was 2/2 with a run as well.

The Eagles improve to 7-19 overall. The join the boys on the road Monday when they travel to Dallas Center-Grimes for a doubleheader.

PCM also lost to Grinnell in their second game 4-3. The Mustangs are now 2-12 and will travel to Knoxville on Tuesday.
