The Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau has become its own separate entity, with a new location on the downtown square.

Executive Director Jill Vandevoort tells KNIA/KRLS News the community’s visitor center is now located on Broadway Street near City Hall. She says the transition away from the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance was done more to clearly define the goals of both organizations — with the CVB primarily focused on tourism, while PACE focuses on community development for businesses and industry.

Vandevoort says the organizations still will collaborate on numerous projects, as both of the goals for each group closely align — to make Pella a better place to live, work in, and visit. Hear more about the transition on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
