The PCM softball team was in a back and forth affair Wednesday night with Nevada when heavy rains cut the game short.

Trailing 2-0 in the first the Mustangs got the scoring started with a double by Camryn Wignall to plate a run. The Cubs tacked on a couple runs in the third to make it 4-1 when the Mustang offense went to work. PCM tied the game at 4-4 after RBI hits from Madison Foster and Belle Hudnut. Nevada hit a two run bomb in the fourth to take a 6-4 lead when downpours put a stop and end to the contest. Failing to reach five innings meant it was not an official game and a make up date is to be decided.

The baseball team had their game postponed before traveling to Nevada and that game will be made up July 3rd.

Baseball will face off with Clarke today and softball will travel to South Hamilton tomorrow.
