The PCM summer teams had a tough time Friday night falling to Heart of Iowa Conference foe Saydel.

The baseball team dug themselves an early hole they could never work out of, falling 10-0 in five innings. Saydel put up eight runs in the first in part by five hit batters and a pair of Mustang errors. PCM had four hits on the day led by Caleb Duinink with a double. The Mustangs are now 4-8 on the year.

The softball team struggled for just one hit in a 13-0 defeat. Camryn Wignall had the lone knock and Kenzie Johnson took the loss in the circle. PCM falls to 2-7 on the season.
