A Des Moines man has been arrested on theft charges for taking computers from a local business.

According to court documents, the Knoxville Police Department was made aware of the possible theft of computer equipment from a local restaurant, as a subject identified as Anthony Bordenaro had over $2,500 worth of equipment that he was hired to fix and install in April. After making contact, Bordenaro agreed to return the equipment but failed to do so. In late May, the Knoxville Police Department once again made contact with Bordenaro, where he agreed to return the equipment again but failed to do so.

On June 8th, with the computer equipment still not returned, an arrest warrant was issued for Bordenaro and he was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of theft in the second degree, a class D felony.
