The Pleasantville softball team played competitively in the Woodward-Granger tournament but ultimately fell in a pair of games.

In game one the Trojans lost a back and forth affair 6-5 in six innings. Pleasantville had a two run lead heading into the sixth when Ogden had some late inning heroics to seize the win. Andie Sowers led the way for the Trojans with three hits and one RBI. Amber McKinney added a pair of hits and a pair of RBI.

In game two the Trojans hung tough with Winterset trailing 3-1 heading into the final inning. Five insurance runs for Winterset put the game on ice and cruised to an 8-1 win. Sydney McKinney and Josie Sowers each had two hits for Pleasantville.

The Trojans drop to 7-8 on the season and will head back to Woodward-Granger today.
