Preliminary Report on Tornados

Cancellations

Vermeer Corporation is closed indefinitely

The Lely Plant and Offices in Pella are closed Friday, to respect the workers and emergency services working at the Vermeer clean-up.

The Vermeer Mile will remain closed by law enforcement in between the intersections of Vermeer Road and 240th Avenue and Vermeer Road and 250th Avenue. Authorities are unsure how long this section of Vermeer Road will be closed in between these two intersections.

Phone lines are down at the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella and won’t be restored until Monday, July 23rd

Violent Tornado Directly Hits Vermeer, Impacts Areas North and East of Pella
