The Knoxville Softball Squad begins the regional journey tonight hosting Little Hawkeye Conference member Dallas Center-Grimes. The Mustangs are a different team from a few years ago when they won back-to-back state championships with two division one players. That said at 15-22 the record a bit deceiving. D-C-G has played a very tough schedule and is coming in on a five game winnings streak. Knoxville is also on a five game winnings streak after finishing third in the South Central Conference this summer and sporting a 16-10 overall record.
