IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO 29 CALLS FOR SERVICE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

ONE EXTRA PATROL, TWO MOTORIST ASSISTS, ONE DISPUTE, FOUR PAPER SERVICE ATTEMPTS, ONE WANTED PERSON, ONE DEER IN THE ROADWAY, TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENTS, ONE CIVIL MATTER, TWO VEHICLE UNLOCKS, TWO FOLLOW-UPS, TWO WELFARE CHECKS, TWO VIOLATION OF NO CONTACT ORDERS, ONE JUVENILE CALL, TWO REPORTS OF HARASSMENT, ONE REPORT OF FRAUD, ONE RETURN CALL AND THREE OTHER CALLS FOR SERVICE.
IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER FIELDED 141 CALLS INCLUDING 22 911 CALLS.
THE MARION COUNTY JAIL IS CURRENTLY HOLDING 34 SUBJECTS.
IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS ONE SUBJECT WAS BOOKED INTO THE MARION COUNTY JAIL.
