The Top 10 countdown continues for PCM sports for 2017-18 with number nine.
January 19th was a night to remember for Regan Freland, as the sophomore broke out in a big way on the basketball court propelling the Mustangs to a 65-47 win over Saydel. She finished with a season-high 35 points on 12 of 23 shooting including a trio of threes that helped snap a four game losing skid. The sophomore was one of two players in double figures but also added five rebounds, three steals, and a pair of assists.
Freland led the Mustangs in scoring in each of the last two seasons including averaging 19.1 points per game this year on 32% shooting. The Mustangs finished with a 7-15 record.
