A Pella man has been arrested for alleged stalking and numerous other charges after attempting to plant marijuana inside of someone’s vehicle.
Kain Michael Dietze, 18, of Pella was charged with stalking, a class D felony, as well as harassment in the third degree, malicious prosecution, possession of marijuana, and nine counts of violation of a no contact order.
According to court records, Dietze attempted to contact a victim he had a no-contact order with several times. On July 10th, after the calls, he allegedly drove to the victim’s vehicle, reached into an open window, and dropped a bag inside with a substance testing positive as marijuana on the passenger side floor. He then called 911 in an attempt to get the victim in trouble with police. A review of surveillance video indicated Dietze was the one who dropped the bag into the vehicle, and police say he admitted to all of the actions.
