An experienced and deep Pleasantville baseball senior group capped off a memorable career last week in the district quarterfinal round.
Throughout their high school career the Trojans have compiled a 105-40 record and a pair of trips to the state tournament. While on the field accomplishments were apparent, head coach Sheldon Card was most impressed with how they were able to do it together as a unit. “They did it together, that word together really meant something to this group and I hope those young guys can appreciate what they did for us and when they get older can emulate the same.”
Eight seniors make up this year’s team that went 23-12.
