Today is the last day of the 2018 Marion County Fair.
Today will feature the buyers appreciation recognition and registration, as well as the livestock show in the show pavilion. All livestock must be removed by 6pm, with the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel finishing up the day beginning at 7pm. Chair of the Marion County Fair Board Dustin DeMoss tells KNIA/KRLS News the board wants to thank all those who helped the Marion County Fair go smoothly such as the sponsors including Weiler, Knoxville Farm and Home, Iowa State Savings Bank, and Farm Credit Services out of Newton, and all the volunteers from the Iowa State Extension Office and 4H.
Many of the fair’s competitors, attendees, participants, and livestock will now get ready to attend the Iowa State Fair August 9-20th.
