The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a public open house event to seek input on the Des Moines River Basin Master Reservoir Regulation Manual Feasibility Report with an Integrated Environmental Assessment.
The feasibility report describes the alternatives considered and makes a recommendation on revisions to the Des Moines River Basin Master Reservoir Regulation Manual which includes the water control plans for Saylorville Lake and Lake Red Rock. Proposed updates to the manual will be discussed during the meetings and District staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss comments. The open house will be held at the Central College Graham Annex Building from 3 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1st, with presentations at 3:15 and 5:30 p.m.
