Around 90 drivers will try to write their name down in history this weekend as the 28th Annual Knoxville 360 Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank takes the green flag tonight. Drivers from all over the nation plus Australia will vie for a winner’s check of $15,000 in Saturday’s A-Main. Last year’s winner and current Knoxville 360 leader Clint Garner knows it will be tough to repeat, and he is coming in like he an underdog instead of one of the favorites. Another local driver that hopes she is in Saturday’s show is McKenna Hasse. Hasse already has two wins at Knoxville this season in the 360s and wants to make the A-Main on Saturday after making it to the B last year. Along with those two, 2016 winner Sammy Swindell is entered racing tonight. Also running tonight is Three Time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart, ASCS National leader Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Greg Hodnett out of Pennsylvania among others.
