The Knoxville Community School District is holding a community town hall informational meeting on September 12th about the schools next project.
Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News the tennis courts and basketball courts near the high school are nearing completion, and now the district wants community input on what they are planning next–improvements to Ken Locke Stadium. Pearson says there are safety features that need updating, and the district wants to find ways to use the facility in different ways such as concerts or younger kids activities that would bring benefits to the community. The meeting will take place at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center, beginning at 6pm.
