A Knoxville man faces a felony charge of sexual abuse in the second degree, along with three counts of indecent contact with a child, all aggravated misdemeanors.
Court records show that 38-year old Jason Adam Brandon allegedly inappropriately touched a child under the age of 12 several times at a home in Knoxville. He was allegedly caught in the act by an adult on one occasion. Brandon denied the allegations to arresting officers. He faces up to 25 years in prison upon conviction for the sexual abuse in the second degree charge, and up to one year in prison on each of the other three charges. A preliminary hearing will be held on August 23, at 9:30 am at the Marion County Courthouse.
Brandon is in the Marion County Jail on a $31,000 cash only bond.
