The Knoxville Community School District is welcoming 21 new teachers to the school district for the 2018-19 school year.
Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News this years hires are very diverse coming from different backgrounds and a lot of colleges both in and out of Iowa, and thinks students will love the new additions and the energy they will bring. Pearson also said the district is also excited about the new administration and support staff that are also joining. Students attending Knoxville schools will begin the year on Thursday.
