The Pleasantville volleyball team will get their first taste of the West Central Conference tonight when they open the season hosting Earlham.
The Trojans are coming off of a 6-14 season and lost seven players to graduation while the Cardinals went 17-12 and saw four players graduate. Head Coach of the Trojans Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Earlham will be one of the top teams in the league and he expects the conference to prepare them well for the postseason.
“It is going to be a challenge every night and that will be good for us when we need to play our best ball at the end of the year. Our main focus every night is to compete for every point and constantly striving to be better.”
The season gets started tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Pleasantville High School.
