The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association released its 2018 All-District teams and five Pleasantville players were honored.
There are five districts throughout the state and the Trojans represented the Southwest District. Four players were named to the first team. Kyle Amendt posted a 2.26 ERA in 42 1/3 innings of work. Grant Fouch was recognized for his work at second base. He finished with a .330 batting average and knocked in 19 runs. Cael Lester did some damage with the bat having a .388 batting average and team-high 32 RBI. Quintin Berglund led the team with a .404 batting average and knocked in 31 runs. Colton Major was named to the second team as a pitcher. The senior had a 2.15 ERA and led the team with 69 strikeouts.
The Trojans closed out their Pride of Iowa Conference tenure with a conference title.
