Brad Sweet said he was using Sunday’s Capitani Classic as a test session. At the end of the night he likely was pleased that his car passed every test with flying colors as he dominated the night sweeping the pole shuffle and then leading all 25 laps to capture the A-Main. Sweet was never challenged in the feature race and never saw the battle behind him for second place waged by Carson Macedo, Brian Brown, and Paul McMahan. Macedo completed an incredible week following up a win in his 360 Nationals preliminary and a runner-up finish in Saturday’s A-Main, placed second. Brown also completed the great weekend finishing third. The action for Southern Iowa Sprint Week shifts to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa for the next two days with tonight’s Front Row Challenge.
