While the Pleasantville class of 2018 experienced plenty of success in a plethora of sports, their character and leadership might be what is missed the most.
Athletic Director Jeff Cook was on Saturday’s Knoxville HyVee Radio Coaches Corner and he talked about the special group.
“They were kids who worked hard in the classroom, on the field or court, and showed their teammates how to be role models. Whatever the coaches asked of them they would do for the team and that sets a great example for the underclassmen.”
Cook adds throughout every sport the number of seniors were very high for a class 2A school.
