Not even a week into Pleasantville’s opening season in the West Central Conference and the Trojan volleyball team has already experienced the challenges in competing in the deep league.
After falling to Earlham on Tuesday, the Trojans traveled to Des Moines Christian yesterday and fell in three sets. Pleasantville lost 25-10, 25-9, and 25-10. Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he thinks the Lady Lions could be the best team in the conference and it showed last night.
Pleasantville starts the year 0-2 and hosts Madrid on Tuesday.
