A new era has begun for Twin Cedars Football. Cam Parker, an assistant for the past seven seasons for the Sabers, takes over the head coaching position. Parker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he thinks his team can be competitive in all of the games this season. One concern is the skill positions as they will have a lot of new names and not a lot of experience. Daniel Beary will be the quarterback for the Sabers. He will making his first varsity start. Marshall Maple will return as a running back…he ran for 65 yards last season. Tytus Hunt will be another running back that fans will see on the field, Brock DenBurger had 36 yards receiving last year and appears to be the number one option for Beary. The Sabers will get the season underway a week before anyone else does with a week zero game at English Valleys this Friday.
