The Central College baseball team added a new assistant coach to their staff in Tyler Willis.
Willis was a 2015 all-Iowa Conference player for Wartburg College where he graduated in 2016. Current Central head coach Matt Schirm, who was an assistant at Wartburg from 2011-14, coached him. Willis spent the past year as a graduate assistant at Simpson College and an assistant coach at Grinnell High School.
Willis will serve as Central’s hitting coach and will also work with the infielders.
