Knoxville Police are investigating a burglary at Corigliano’s pizza restaurant earlier this week.
Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News the suspects apparently broke in between 3am and noon Tuesday while the store was closed; a large number of items were taken, including electronics, registers, a stereo, monitors and tools.
Andy Corigliano says he has been struggling to get a new register system up and running in time for this weekend’s late-model Nationals at nearby Knoxville Raceway – one of the restaurant’s busiest weekends of the year.
He says the situation has been stressful for himself, and feels worse for his staff because they have to deal with all this during a race weekend.
