While the Twin Cedars offense on Friday night put plenty of points on the board in the Sabers 50-6 win over Seymour/Moulton-Udell, it was the defense that played shut down football all night. Brock DenBurger led the Sabers with seven tackles…two for loss and two sacks. Marshall Maple was also big on the defensive side of the ball making six tackles with one sack. He also recovered a fumble, and returned an interception back 53 yards for a touchdown. Going into district play next week, the Sabers stand in first place in eight-man district five taking on Colo-NESCO.
