A Knoxville man is facing felony charges after police reportedly found him in possession of crystal meth during a traffic stop.
Twenty-two-year-old Joshua Wood was arrested by Knoxville Police on June 9th during a traffic stop at the intersection of Marion and Roche. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle, who said Wood was not authorized to use the car — and consented to a search.
Officers reported finding a plastic grocery bag with 3 hypodermic needles, several plastic baggies and four baggies with crystal meth residue. They also report finding a small scale with meth residue.
Wood is charged with drug trafficking of methamphetamine, a class B felony, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a drug without a tax stamp.
