The Pella City Council will hold second and third readings of numerous ongoing ordinances at their meeting this evening.
The council will consider the third and final readings of proposed ordinances requiring special use permits for all new bars and taverns in the community and for a planned unit development for the proposed Vintage Cooperative development. Second readings will be held for ordinances including a planned unit development for the Webster Park development at Main and Broadway, as well as two other properties on West Second Street from institutional to residential zoning. In addition, the council will establish a public hearing date for a proposed urban renewal plan to potentially use tax increment financing to support the proposed Webster Park project.
The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
