The Pleasantville (1-2) football team will search for their first win streak of the year when they travel to Albia (0-3) tonight for a week four matchup.
The Trojans are coming off of a thrilling come from behind victory at Earlham 20-17 last week. Unlike Earlham’s ground and pound style of football, Pleasantville head coach Mack Jorth tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they will see more of an air attack tonight with the Blue Demons.
“It’s a complete 180 degree difference from what we saw last week with Earlham. Albia is going to try and put us in space and make green grass their weapon. They have a good quarterback that can throw all over the field and have athletes on the outside. We need to make sure we are playing sideline to sideline and limit the big plays.”
Albia’s Chance Blake has completed 39 of his 89 passes for 398 yards and three touchdowns. The matchup gets started at 7 p.m. this evening in Albia. You can hear all of the action starting at 6:30 p.m. on the KNIA3 stream available at kniakrls.com.
