The Pleasantville cross country teams traveled to Story City last night along with 15 other teams for a meet.
The girls placed ninth with 205 points while Dike-New Hartford took home top honors with 49. Sophomore Emmie Kenyon was the top Trojan in 29th with a time of 25:01. Jordan Dursky was not far behind in 34th and Mel Johnson was 37th. The boys finished 16th with 476 points while Madrid won with 29. Freshman Devon Luing led the way in 55th in 20:15 and Jeremy Colboth was 145th. Head Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the team didn’t run their best but it was good to see strong competition before the conference meet.
