Several Area Teams Compete At Moravia Cross Country Meet

Both Knoxville boys and girls cross country squads finished third at the Moravia Invitational on Thursday. The Panthers were supposed to compete in the P-C-M meet but that was called off due to wet grounds at the Monroe Gateway Golf Course. The top girl runner was Michayla McGill while the top boys runner was Max Purvis. Pella Christian was also in Moravia. Pacing the Eagle Boys team was juniors Lucas Bandstra in third place…Donny Demestri in tenth and Sophomore Brayton Juffer in 11th. On the girl’s side… Annaliese Admiraal finished third with a time of 22:49…and two runners had a P-R for the season Maddy Crile dropped 20 secs and Mira Ford dropped 1:44. Official results were not available.
