The Pleasantville football team is hoping third time is a charm tonight, as they look for their first win against Earlham.
The Trojans are coming off of a 17-13 loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg in week two. In order for Pleasantville to change their fortune, they will have to slow down an impressive run game for the Cardinals (1-1). Caleb Swalla has been a bruiser of a back, already recording 394 yards on the ground in 50 carries. Trojan head coach Mack Jorth tells KNIA/KRLS Sports slowing down the Cardinals will be a tremendous challenge.
“They are so big and physical and we have to be physical right back. The misdirection with the full house backfield means our guys have to stay home and be discipline.”
The game was supposed to be in Pleasantville but due to weather the Trojans will travel to Earlham. You can hear all of the action on the KNIA3 stream at kniakrls.com starting at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
