Area individuals competed at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge Saturday.

For Indianola, Ashley Rockhold placed 56th (20:35) in the 4A girls race, and Eric Baldus nabbed 20th (16:18) among the 4A Boys. Melcher Dallas’ J’Lyn Knutson was 25th in the 1A girls race (20:55), and the Saints’ Emery Sage placed 34th (17:23) competing among the 1A boys.
