High school volleyball teams now know their journeys to the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids for the state tournament.

The Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union released the regional playoff brackets for all five classes this week.

In Class 4A, two local teams landed in the same region. For the fourth consecutive season, the No. 6 ranked Lady Dutch will have home-court advantage as far as they go, earning a first-round bye as well in 4A Region 7. On Tuesday, October 23rd, Pella will play the winner of Knoxville hosting Carlisle, a game to be held on October 17th.

In Class 2A, Pella Christian and Pleasantville will each have at least one home game on October 22nd and a first round bye in Region 5. The Eagles await the winner of Pekin at Cardinal, while the Trojans play the winner of I-35 vs. Martensdale St-Marys.

PCM will travel to Eddyville to face the EBF Rockets on October 17th in Class 3A Region 6. Melcher-Dallas lands in Class 1A Region 7, and kicks of their bracket traveling to Lynnville-Sully on October 16th, while Twin Cedars hits the road to Moravia in 1A Region 8 that same night.
